Due to its defensive properties, Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate protects the cellular DNA from the damage caused by UVB radiation. It is stable at high temperatures and has good solubility in oils. Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate is a lipophilic anti-oxidant which works in the dermis.
